Veto 8
The Veto 8 is a combined automated feed system and fuel store for biomass heating systems. The pre-fabricated silo is designed to combine a large storage capacity (8 m³), with a low profile to facilitate re-filling. The top of the airtight silo has a large hatch, which can be adjusted in four alternative positions.
The reliable spring agitator enables the use of various types of fuel. The springs do not mix up the fuel in the silo unnecessarily; rather, the agitator also cleans impurities that have accumulated on the feed screw and guides more fuel to the feed screw. The new semi-cylindrical feed tube prevents fuel from getting stuck and freezing at the bottom part of the chute. Larger pieces of fuel flow more easily at the top edge of the chute.
Thanks to the two-piece feed tube, maintenance is easy. The feed screw can be detached without moving the machine. Removing the base chute of the fuel silo enables direct manual access to the feed screw and igniter. Fire safety in the Veto 8 is ensured by three safety devices, which function independently of one another—an AVT-A water valve equipped with a self-powered thermostat connected to the pressurized water network, a 10-liter water tank with a plug of wax and a programmable flame retardant in the control box.
An 80-kW or 120-kW igniter with a mobile grate is available as an extra.
